I will miss your phone calls my darling brother Marie and I had this thing of who s Knee you would sit on she said she wanted you to be a girl and did not want a boy but like all of us she fell in love with you when our mum ops she did not like us calling her that it had to be MOTHER had you We both spoilt you as by the time you were five we were both working but you were never naughty spoilt you were a lovely child and grew into a wonderful man that we all loved. As Marie is not able to do this because she has Alzheimer's I am doing this for we two
I will miss your cunning sense of humour, quick jokes, and generous heart and amusing stories. From picking up a dumb 18 year old stranded at an Auckland night club at 3am, to collected stranded cars from other cities. Most importantly, I wouldn't be who I am today if not for the life line he gave a very stupid 19 year old, and helped me get my life together back on the right path. You will be missed with a heavy heart.
Thank you John, the grin on you before saying a joke or being cheeky. Thank you for being part of our lives,

Dear Great Uncle John Thank you for all the memories we shared throughout my childhood, your were a fun and very loving man who always made time for us. Wish I got to say goodbye, lots of love to everyone from my family and I until we meet again.
My Dear Uncle John, Your kindness and generosity will live in my heart forever. You were there in my time of need as you were for others and I will always be grateful. Unfortunately your not going to make it over to Western Australia but I do know one day I will see that smile again. Our last conversation you told me I looked like nana, that will stay in my heart forever. Fortunately for me your beautiful Josie took lots of photos of you and messaged me with them, along with your updates through face book. We are so lucky to have had this form of communication. Rest in peace my beautiful Uncle, love you always. Debbie 🥰
