GREGORY, Tāne Tangaroa

Our gorgeous dear boy was taken from us too soon.

We will miss him forever and always.

He loved the outdoors and everything to do with nature.

He loved everyone he met and left a lasting impression.

Anything he gave a go at he succeeded in.

He had an awesome personality.

He was caring, charismatic, energetic, loving and kind.

He was the best of us.

"The world has missed out on someone so special".

He will be dearly missed by mum (Kim), dad (Adam), his little sister Mary-Jane, poppa, oma, opa and all his aunties, uncles, cousins, friends and family.

A funeral service was held for Tāne at The Ranfurly Hall, 903 Kaipara Flats Road, Kaipara Flats on Monday 26th February at 11.30am.

Green was Tāne's favourite colour, so wear green on Monday in remembrance of this special little guy.

The service has been livestreamed and can be viewed below, along with the photographic reflection of Tāne's life.

Tributes for Tāne can also be placed below.

Tributes

Sincerest condolences to Adam, Kim and all the Gregory family/friends. I couldn't quite believe the news when Ben had sent me a post Adam had made of his beloved and wonderful Son Tane's passing. I honestly could not imagine the pain they are going through. I don't have the words to ease this pain but know he loves you very much and wants you to live life to the fullest in his memory. KIA KAHA ♡♡♡

Hey Tane, We can't believe you're gone. We've been remembering all the fun that you boys used to have at the ropu and the water fight at your birthday party. You were always such a kind soul, Blake remembers at kindy when you shared toys with him. We couldn't be there physically today as I am unwell but we have been there in spirit and have watched the livestream. God speed Tane. Kia kaha!

Hey Tane you were the most awesome nephew ever. The little pocket rocket with energy to burn. You always had a go at trying everything, we even remember you trying get Damon and Kyle to arm wrestle you, you were only seven and they were three times your age but you were so determined you could beat them. I will always remember the beautiful smiles and hugs I'd get from you whenever you came shopping with mum, and the stories about what you'd been up too. You will always be in our hearts Love you little man From auntie julia, uncle Hamish, cousins Damo and kyle

You were an effervescent soul - so loving and friendly- an ace sportsman who always gave his 110% in everything. You would see me and run up for a hug no matter where we were - such a cool kid. I have you tucked away in my heart forever - so many fun memories. Dancing at Sams wedding, Spiking your hair into a Mohawk, watching you and uncle Ben play fight, how lovely you were with your sister and Grammy - your beautiful Auburn curls - such a cutie. The only thing that I can feel ok about at the moment is that Grammy is looking after you now, feeding you lollies. Thanks mate for making the world a better place while you were here - love you mate - Aunty Sheree xx
