EWINGTON, William Hart (Bill) - On 18 February 2024 at home in Masterton, aged 86. Dearly loved husband of the late Judith. Much loved father and father-in-law of Blair and Lisa, and loved grandad of Harry and Sophie. Loved brother of Allan, and the late Julia van Dijk. A service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at Rosewood, 415 Queen Street Masterton on Saturday 24th February at 11.00am followed by private cremation. Messages to the Ewington family may be sent C/- PO Box 2055 Masterton 5842. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Masterton RSA or the Carterton Rugby Club.

Such an amazing man always full of life and a big smile, booming welcoming voice and laughter all around. I was a boy when I spent the most time with Bill and his family but many fond memories of them all joining us on many occasions. Part of our extended family life. You will be cherished forever in our memories. Much Love US Trott’s.
Our parents met through teaching and became life long friends - building beach house catching cray fish, the occasional golf matches and lots of laughs. Mr Ewington and later Bill was a true gentleman who instilled great values in you Blair. Sorry we can't be there but are thoughts are with you all. From Trotter clan.
