Warren Mills

My amazing mother it will soon be a month without you physically by my side but I know your always with me spiritually watching my back like you always did. Everyday that goes past I feel a sort of emptiness that I do not know if I will ever get rid of because there is no one else who could fill the space in my heart that you have. I miss you so dearly and i know that I was blessed to have been given a amazing mother, if I could pick to relive this life with anybody I would chose you and my family. even though you passed away too early I would still pick you as I would rather have a amazing mother for 14 years than a decent mother for 50. May God Bless and Protect us all All Glory be to God. May your soul rest in Heaven. I love you Mummy. When I go pro I know you will be by my side. Your sweet prince will stay strong God Bless you Mumma I love you see you in a while.

Remembering that time Brenda pulled me over on Birkdale Road at 11.30pm when I was heading home from work and her reaction when she said OMG - Hi Anna's brother but I still have to test you - and then proceeded to make me undergo the test. I passed. So sad to learn this but grateful to have known her.

To the Mills family so sorry to hear of Brenda's passing away. Apologies for not attending but did watch the live stream. The funeral summed up Brenda's life and personality so well. She was great fun with a wicked sense of humor and but didn't't tolerate any nonsense. A straight shooter. Wasn't she just great. I'm not surprised she had life long friends from childhood who spoke with such fondness, once you knew Brenda she wasn't someone you forgot easily. Warren I thought your eulogy was spot on in describing her. Absolutely brilliant! Further I imagine both you and Brenda would also have been so proud of how your children also spoke. A testimony to both you and Brenda being great parents. We shall all miss her.

Our hearts go out to the Mills family at this sad time. Both of us have very fond memories of our policing times together at takapuna police station. “Millsie” was thought to be the consummate Batchelor but when Brenda got her sights set on him he was a goner!! We both remember so well your wedding day and Jo being given the privilege of acting as your MC for your special day, way back in 2004. Here we are some 21 years later saying goodbye to Brenda way too soon. You fought a good fight, now it’s time to rest. Kia kaha. 🎀👮🎀
