Dearest Mons, I'm so sad to hear that your gone. That you've crossed the ocean to that faraway land we used to talk of. Hiding and undying just over the horizon. Goodbye Snow-White.
Farewell dear Mons, you were part of our family for a number of years and loved by my Dad. My heartfelt condolences to your family and friends. May you rest easy.
Rest in peace Darling Lady , All the pain is now gone Love u always Auntie Rosenne
Monette was a big part of my life during my younger years. Even though she had a tough life when we were young she always had a lot of time for me. I would go stay at her mother’s house in Whanuapai where Monette Benjamin and I used to spend hours perfecting the art of making mud pies. She was very tolerant of her hyperactive younger cousin including when she came to stay with us when I was around 4. Dad had just built me a go cart. Monette was waiting patiently to have a go but there was no way I was letting a girl ride my wheels down the drive way! My solution was to take one of the front wheels off put the washer in my mouth and run away. This failed when I fell over and swallowed the washer. Many tears where shed well Monette patiently took my to my folks to explain my stupidity. Many weeks were spent by my folks looking for that washer well it passed through my insides… I last spoke to Monette last year and regret not seeing her more. It’s always the way. My condolences to her family. She was and will always be part of my family. Much love from South Yorkshire Duane.
