Dear Sandra, I was so sorry to read of Hamish’s death last month. I have such fond memories of you, Hamish, Jamie and Madeleine, all those years ago. I will always remember him with affection ~ his enthusiasm for life and those warm and sparkly eyes, with an almost permanent smile on his face. He was just a lovely man. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all your family Sandra during this time of great sadness for you all. With much love Liz xx 0273412480

Hello Sandra, I was so sorry to read about Hamish's passing. I have very happy memories of working for him with Glenda Wain planting and looking after the Clivea on your property. The last time I caught up with him was at the Point Wells Club when he was there with Eric Henry and I had been living in Matamata for 6 years. My husband Gerry passed away very suddenly in May 2016. I moved to Orewa and live in Kensington Park in a 1 bedroom apartment. He will be a great loss to the area. I am sorry I won't be there on Wednesday but have a prior engagement unforitunately. With love and sympathy.

Dear Sandra I have not forgotten you. Thinking of you and the family at this sad time. Hamish was a lovely soul, with a wonderful sense of humour. I will remember both you and Hamish in my prayers. God bless. Mary xx

I love the stories of " The Ballet Shoe Master" from Great North Rd Grey Lynn. Hamish designed, made and created shoes for all sorts - an artisan from an Old School. I will never forget neither will the residents of Karangahape Rd in Old Auckland.
