It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beautiful mum, Shirley Bates, aged 61. A loving mother, daughter, sister, nana, auntie, and friend to so many.

 Mum passed away peacefully, surrounded by her precious grandbabies. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that will remain with us forever.

 Her funeral service will be held at Haven Falls, Taupō, on Thursday 4th September 2025 at 10:00am.

If you wish to see Mum before the casket is closed, please arrive at 9:40am.

It will be a closed casket funeral, to honour and respect our Nan, Shirley’s mother.

 If you are unable to attend the funeral but wish to pay your respects, please contact Courtney – 0275176391. Mum is currently lying in state at 18/1 Puriri Street, Hilltop, Taupō.

All who knew and loved Mum are welcome to come and celebrate her life with us.
