Aged 91 years, passed away peacefully on Saturday 30 August 2025.  Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret.  Loved father and father-in-law of Basil and Catherine, Raymond, Carol, and Robyn; special grandfather to Oliver.  Many will know Larry as the iconic ‘Animal-making Balloon Man’ in The Plaza; performing magic and fascinating children was his passion.  Messages for Larry’s family may be left via robertjcotton.co.nz/funerals.  Heartfelt thanks to the dedicated and empathetic nurses and caregivers at Levin War Veterans’ Home.  Friends are invited to a service to celebrate Larry’s life, to be held in the Kelvin Grove Crematorium Chapel, 118 James Line, Palmerston North, on Monday 8 September 2025, at 1.00pm.
