I had the pleasure of looking after Ron for the last year, and when I say I had the pleasure, I thoroughly mean that. Ron became the reason I would come to work with a smile on my face. The kindest man I have probably ever come across in my life, with the humour and wittiness to match. Ron had such a deep and unwavering love for his beautiful wife Lucy and made it known to every one he came across, he would often tell me stories about their life together and these stories would leave me walking away from his room thinking 'wow I hope I have a beautiful love and life, like Lucy and Ron". will miss you my mate, thankyou for showing me such kindness and patience while I navigated the new beginnings of my career as a caregiver, I will think of you and your family fondly throughout my career. hope you catch some big fish up there mate, lots of loves
Always enjoyed working for Ron and Lucy all those years ago in Victoria Valley. You have often come up in my thoughts. My sympathy goes out to you Lucy and your family David
Thoughts are with you Lucy, Karen & Leo, Grant, Callum & Joel. Uncle Ron you will be so dearly missed. Hope you're at peace up there fishing and having a beer with dad xxx
It was a pleasure to meet, know and care for Ron. A very sweet man
A true gentleman, sports fanatic and good bugga, thanks for being such an awesome Poppa to Callum and Joel and being there most active supporter, especially from the gameday sidelines. Thank you for everything you taught and did for me, racecar crewman, boat captain, indoor cricket teammate, builders TA - and I still have the the long nose pliers you gave me the day I started my apprenticeship. Settle down in front of the TV and RIP.
Knowing Ron was such a wonderful honor. A man of few words but a heart of gold. Thinking of you Lucy and family ❤
