Dear Mrs Scholes. I will always have very fond memories of staying and being looked after while my parents were away overseas. Always such a kind, giving lady who I have known since my sister Teresa met and married Ross. Always felt comfortable chatting over a cuppa which we often shared when we lived in the same house which was made into flats/bedsitters owned by uncle Ted. Such a sad loss. May you rest in peace. Of all my father's sisters Aunty Ngaire was the one I had the most to do with. I remember back to when I was 8 years old watching her and Eileen getting ready to go out on a Saturday night. Oh how beautiful they looked and that is how I remember her always looking attractive and well groomed. On my last visit to NZ in 2022 she had just returned from the hairdresser, wow what an impression. To me she was the defender of an extended family, kept me up to date about everyone and keen to know about my family and what we were up to. FAREWELL AUNTY NGAIRE
