Thank you for joining us to celebrate his life the way he would have wanted - great stories, big laughs, good company and a few beverages!

Dear Emily, Ned and George Sending our deepest sympathy at this most heartbreaking time. We are so saddened to hear of Garth’s passing. The service for Garth was so moving, funny and full of such love. Your sisters speech was so strong, the poems read so very moving and particularly touching was the very priest who married you, John Parker (your relative). I also loved the hats hanging from the marquee. Emily I wish I could see you and am sending so much love from Lucca, Tom and Antigone who remember Ned and George from Loquat Valley days at this time. So brave you all are. Lots and lots of love to you and your beautiful family. ❤️♥️♥️
My deepest condolences to the Parker family. I was so sadden to hear the news of Garth’s passing. I enjoyed the discussions we had whilst working alongside Garth during my time at Poolwerx. And I’ll miss the banter he had about rugby over the ditch!
Privileged to have known Garth. Always made you feel special and I never left an occasion with him involved without sore cheeks from laughing so hard. You’ll be missed mate.
We have lost a real diamond. Even though I haven't seen Garth in 30 years, I still remember his smile that would light up a room. We all shared some very good times in the 1992/93 rowing season - post regatta fun at the Leam tavern and carnage at rowing balls and house parties...I'll never forget Garth. You are so loved and you will be missed. Shine bright in heaven x
The world has lost a gem, sorry for the loss to Garth’s family and friends, only met you a handful of times Garth but your cool nature was admired by everyone at Poolwerx BOP mate, we will all miss you
The greatest and cutest Garth growing up from early days. Always easy and thankful to his family for bringing up such a well rounded achiever. A brave battler, so genuine and a thoroughly decent character. So proud of his family with many happy adventures to remember, living life to the full. Our thoughts and love are very much with Emily, the boys and parents Tim and Liz, brother Charles, sister Jessica and their families at this time and always. Be at peace our friend.
To Parker Family Our deepest sympathy goes out to you all at this very tough and sad time. Whilst I only knew Garth for a few years I enjoyed his banter and company and more importantly working alongside him as NZ Master Franchise owner. He will be missed by us all. Mike Geddes
So many happy memories .. and so many more adventures still to be had .. a warm smile, a kind spirit and a cheeky sense of fun that will be so very sadly missed. Em, Ned and George - there are no words - our hearts break for you and our arms are wrapped around you. Sending big love and the biggest hugs - today and always
I always enjoyed my dealings with you Garth - your sense of humour was much appreciated. You were a good guy, and you're gone far too soon. Rest in peace Garth. Thoughts and wishes to your family.
Dear Emily and boys, I have just heard the terrible news and I can’t quite believe it’s true. To me Garth was always larger than life in every sense, always such a kind, gentle, good friend. When I moved to Sydney from London at the same time as you guys, you were a very important part of my early years there. Sending all my love from the other side of the world. X Saul
Garth, We should sit on the balcony enjoying a glass, enjoying the children we raised, becoming young men.. now just a dream and a sweet sweet memory of our time together. Miss you man!
Garth.....you'll never know how much you will be missed
Devastated for all by the loss of this amazing man. We had so much fun working together for 5 or so years, travelling NZ and the world for Nando's. Garth built a great team, and never missed a chance to torch me about the Wallabies! He adored and was deeply proud of his family. He was a friend more than a workmate, and I'll miss him greatly.
Kia ora dear Parker Family, I am so very sad to hear of Garth’s death and want to send my love to you at this horrid time. I knew Garth well, but a long time ago when we shared a farm-home together as kids - Charles, Garth, Jessica, Tana, Catherine, Clare and Jen. I recall gumboots in many sizes, the long, long, cauliflower and broad bean seasons, and the unforgettable sight of a woodshed packed solid with buckets of export chrysanthemums. For a while, the Lyons sisters enjoyed a life with brothers. “Here’s to brother Garth!’ - may he find peace.
Dear Em and family, I am shocked and devastated to hear about Garth. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your boys. I have so many great memories of him. From the London days to when I lived with you in Bondi … sending you so much love and strength. Tessa, Ollie, Ben and Toby. Xxx
Dearest Emily and family, I was so sad and shocked to hear from Weazel about Garth. What a huge huge loss for you 3. Sending so much strength, hugs and love through this extremely tough time. Thinking of you. 🙏🩷🧡♥️much love Belles xxxxx
