Much loved member of her family in Netherlands. Much loved by her many friends in New Zealand. Funeral to be held at the Dil's North Harbour Chapel 185 Schnapper Rock Road Albany Auckland on Tuesday 2 April 2024 at 10.30am. Funeral will be available by live stream https://share.funeral.stream/9JxKv Tributes to Gerrie can also be made here. In accordance with Gerrie’s wishes people can bring flowers from their gardens.

Gerrie was a good friend. We shared a Dutch heritage as some of my ancestors came from Holland to America to what was New Amsterdam in 1651 and like her I also immigrated to New Zealand. We have shared many a lunch together with mutual friends. I always appreciated her visits from her with Maya, checking in on me or taking me out to lunch.
