MCNAUGHT, Joanne (Jo) née Hammond. Sadly, on Tuesday 2nd of September, at her home surrounded by her family, aged 64 years. Dearly loved mother, wife, sister, and nana. Jo is survived by her loving husband Wayne McNaught, sisters Lyne, Robyn, Vicky, and Louise, her children, Alisa, Cole, and Sorro, and grandchildren Gabrial, Charlotte, Ezekiel, Mackenzie, and Myra. A service to celebrate Jo’s life will be held in the Lindisfarne Methodist Church, Crn Lindisfarne and Miller Street’s on Tuesday, 9th September 2025 at 1 pm, followed by an interment at the Eastern Cemetery. Jo will be resting at her home from Saturday, 6th, until Monday, 8th September, for anyone wishing to pay their respects. A special lady who for as long as I remember took in all of the stray children and loved on them as if they were her own, from camping on Alisa's floor as teenagers to Christmas lunch when whanau wasn't around. Thank you for being that mum for all of us Jo. To the whanau. My sincere apologies! Kia haha. Arohanui.
To Sorro and family my sincerest condolences to you all on the very sad loss of Jo. She was truly a brilliant genuine lady with a great sense of humor and always a kind word. May she rest in peace.
