Thanks for being such a great presence in my life. I will never forget those brilliant days in the surf at Fitzroy beach. Growing up with you around and spending time with the families together is among my happiest, most joyful memories that I have.
Barry, what an absolute privilege it has been to have you as our neighbour for all these years. Forever known in our household as “Action Man Barry” your ability to get out (almost on a daily basis right up until the end) to run, bike, walk or swim inspired us all to get out and get exercising. I am going to miss your cheeky smile and our banter over the fence chatting about the height of the hedges; the temperature of our swimming pools and having a laugh about Shirley’s Chime you put up in the Gazebo which you thought would make us think the ice-cream van had come to visit. Go well Barry you’ve left an empty space – we will miss you.
Sorry for your loss Shirley and family. He battled hard over the last few weeks. Will be thinking of you tomorrow Kind regards Trish Stewart
