Peacefully in New Plymouth on Monday 1 April 2024, aged 76.
Dearly loved husband of Maureen N, and Maureen L (deceased).
Loved Dad of Nick and Alana, Paula, and Linda and Alan.
Cherished G-Dad of Jacob and Freya, and Sophie and Parker; Max and Emma, Steph and Bryce, and Laura; Hayden and Jamie, and Natasha and Hadlee.
Great G-Dad of Harper, Aaliyah, Kiara, Blake, Charlie, Jai, Cora.
Son of Geoffrey Charles and Mary Margaret Whiting.
Brother of John, Anne, Mary (deceased), Joan and Margaret.
Step-father to Rodrick (deceased), and Hamish and Maeve.

Rosary to be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel on Friday 5 April at 5.30pm.
A service to celebrate Denis’ life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Saturday 6 April 2024 at 10.30am, followed by his burial at Awanui Cemetery.

Dear Maureen and whanau. I am saddened in many ways for your loss - in more ways than one. I've had a health event, surprise heart failure/hospitalized so won't be with you to celebrate dear Denis's life. Bless you Maureen with the lovely memories you have of love shared.
