Dad its hard to put anything into words I love you

I was greatly saddened to hear Edwin had passed away, far too young and far too soon. I still remember him as a cheeky young scallywag running around at hay bailing time out at Fortification, it seems like only yesterday. My thoughts are with all his family at this sad time.

A real shock to hear the sad news of Edwin’s passing, Alan, Rose and Diack family I am so sorry for your loss. I think I speak for the whole Cave family that we have such fond memories of Edwin, a character with an energy that was unforgettable. I still remember the day like yesterday, when we for Tokanui played Star at rugby, all of 8yo, beat them by at least 100 points, Edwin broke his arm and it curved like a banana. In true Edwin nature he was back at school Monday however, running around with a cast like nothing was out of the ordinary. With our deepest sympathy we pass on our condolences, Rowan Cave and family.
