Tributes

Annie was such a lovely, vibrant personality, and a great flat-mate in London, then in Wellington. She was a very community minded person, and involved herself in many great causes. I was very sorry not to make the funeral in the end, last week, and to pay my respects to Neville. She will be greatly missed. So sad. Thinking of you all. Jane de Lisle

Annie, youalways brightened up our flats in London and especially our time in Battersea. I especially remember when you dressed up as Father Christmas and we paid a visit to Michele and Linda when they were working at a pub in Peterborough at Christmas time. I have not seen as much of you over the last few years but will always remember you with fondness. Love Janice and Bernie Brown (Wellington)

One of our precious group known as the Battersea Girls. First met in London sharing a flat with Michael being the only male (Australian) with we six kiwi girls. The friendship endured over those 50 odd years although it was not always possible to catch up as we live in the UK and the rest of the girls returned to New Zealand. Even so when we did catch up it was as if we had not been apart. A lot of laughter. Annie we will miss you dreadfully and are thinking of you Neville. All our love to friends and family πŸ’–
