Thank you Maggie for being one brilliant nice guy. It was so nice knowing you. I'll be planting Hemerocallis in my new garden in memory of the many happy days I spent helping you and Roger care for yours. Love Dawn and Cliff

Maggie was a lifelong friend of my grandparents and it was a joy to see the connection they had over the years. So many phone calls, letters, postcards and photos shared that meant so much - an example of how important it is to stay in touch and nurture the relationships we hold dear to us, even when on the other side of the world. On the few occasions I got to spend time with Maggie in person, she matched every description and compliment I had heard through those who were so fond of her: warm, kind and thoughtful.

Rest gently Margaret. I remember how full of fun and life you were from years ago when i met you through Rach; and when we chatted more recently on zoom, when I rang Rachel, I thought wow time hasn't dimmed that energy and fun. Heaven is a better place for having you in it. Keep an eye on your gang and if you have a spare minute watch over me and mine every so often. But the main thing is have fun up there. x

From my childhood in the 1970s until I saw her last in the UK in 2019 Maggie was always the same - engaged, humorous, gracious and calm and fun. Very special.

Finally I have found this. Truly a beautiful human. She was a natural lady with perfect grace. She was loved and respected by everyone she came into contact with. I have never known anyone as genuine and as exemplary in her behaviour s as Margaret. In my opinion she was a real inspiration for all of us to do better and to be generous, kinder and loving!

A truly remarkable lady who always had a kind word and always saw the good in everyone. Will never forget the good times shared and will miss her dearly. Forever grateful we got to spend special time with her when she visited the uk in 2019. Rest in peace dear Maggie.
