With you all today in our hearts, holding a candle to a man who brought so much life and light into our lives and every life he connected with. A kind and generous person, with a heart of gold, your sense of humour Mark was just as rich! Family and friends meant everything to you, especially your Rachel and beautiful daughter Zita - the sun, the moon and the stars for you. I'm so grateful to be of our family and know what this means because of hearts like yours Mark. We have shared many wonderful times together through our lives, so many laughs and adventures. to treasure for always. I still have Terence Trent Darby Wishing Well record to play with a smile and memories of this very fashionable and fun moment captured when we all had fabulous hair. I know you will be looking after your family still and having fun with Robyn & David, creating mayhem and magic between you, bringing light, laughter and love to the world in ways we will feel and get a glimpse of every now and then with a sign here and there. Love you always Mark. Love to you all, Amanda Joel, Sophie, Eddie xxxx
Wishing that I could be standing there with all of you, celebrating such a full and extraordinary life. Mark the perfect mix of Aunty Shirley and Uncle Bob, my wonderful godparents. Mark’s smile could make you feel the youth, happiness, enthusiasm, and intelligence that shone brightly in his twinkling eyes. Mark was a great friend to my Mum and Dad, creating many wonderful memories for our family. Robyn (Mum) cherished their time together at the Mission Bay flat, with Mark and Kevin keeping her laughing daily and including her in their antics – a very special time. Rachel and Zita, my heart goes out to you. You are both so strong and have given Mark his ultimate dream of a beautiful and loving family. Today, a song played that seemed fitting, by Dean Lewis – ‘How Do I Say Goodbye.’ There is no right way to say goodbye... but through our tears and shared memories, we can find solace in knowing that Mark’s spirit lives on in each of us, forever cherished and never forgotten. All our love to you, Tanya, Adam, Chelsea and Cohen.
Wishing you love and thoughts as you come together to celebrate Marks life and complishments. xx
Wishing you strength and peace as you honour Marks life and say your goodbyes. He will live on in your hearts. xx
