ROSS, Julia Irene May, (nee Crump). Peacefully at Yvette Williams Care Home, Dunedin on Wednesday, 17th April 2024, in her 85th Year. Beloved wife of the late Bill. Loved mother and mother-in-law of the late Jennifer, Graeme and Raelene (Australia), Phillip and Teresa (UK), Donald and Angela (Dunedin). A loved Grandma to all her grandchildren, and a loved sister, sister-in-law, and aunty. At Julia’s request, a private interment has taken place. You are invited to join the family to celebrate Julia’s life with a cup of tea and share memories in the lounge at Lindisfarne Community Church, on Monday 22nd April between 1 pm and 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cancer Society, in Julia’s memory. Julia - you were like an adopted grandmother. So thoughtful, the boys loved to come visit you and were memorized by your dancing flowers at the door and cuckoo clock. We loved hearing how proud you were of your family and the smile it brought to your face sharing about them. It is unfortunate that you never got to meet our baby girl. We are all the richer from knowing you Rest in peace
Julia was for many years like a sister to my late wife Janice. and her late husband Bill was a close friend of mine.. I have many happy memories of our families interacting and doing things together. May Julia rest in peace after a full and Faithful life. Murray
