Absolutely crying through the tribute, I will never ever forget how you took me and my family into your family and welcomed us until we came back for more......on numerous occasions!!!....You were a perfect lady and were loved by us all and we will continue to love you loads....Give Derek aka the "six o'clock news guy" a massive hug from us all.... Many happy memories at Routley Avenue, Kaikohe. Especially with Nerida and I babysitting the kids and helping on the farm. Aunty Lila and Uncle Derek were very special people. We always felt at home when in theirs, enjoying family BBQs going down memory lane. A very special Aunty, will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with you all today xx

Such a strong and wonderful welcoming woman. She and Derek always welcomed me into their home and family when visiting NZ. (Even if they didn’t our accents half the time!) .nothing to as too much ch trouble and always love and laughs. Such a wonderful lady she will be missed. RIP Lila xx
