Passed away on Sunday 21st April, aged 100. Much loved wife of Stanley Jennings and more recently Tom Hook (both deceased). Superb Mum of David, Margaret and John. Mother-in-law of Jan, Sue, Robyn and Keith. Treasured Nana Jean of 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. A celebration of Jean's life will be held on Wednesday 1st of May, 1pm at the Central Park Chapel of Davis Funerals, 150 Central Park Drive, Henderson. Our sincere thanks to the staff at the Oceania Care Centre in Meadowbank, Auckland for their excellent care during Jean's stay. Nana Jean was an absolute treasure, she will be greatly missed.

I never met you, dear Jean, and yet your life had a profound influence on me. I know how deeply loved you were for your lifetime of service, for your energy, your wit and dedication to your family. Marg and Keith have told me many stories of your courage and your resilient spirit. I wish I had met you! I mourn your passing today along with so many others whose lives you touched. I honour the 100 years you spent serving and inspiring others, Jean - thank you for inspiring me.
