I had the pleasure of knowing Nat in his later years when i started work at Bell Block Library in 2016. We always enjoyed a bit of banter and i have missed him when he was ill with as he called it”this bloody foot” Fly high Nat x Janie
Fond memories of my time working with you at Sutherlands Sports all those years ago. Such a character! Shona Wagstaff
Sending love from our family to yours. Wish we could be there to raise a glass and farewell Nat. So many fun memories of the Lantana Ave days. (Except your creepy stuffed baby deer and other wildlife) 😜 Best neighbours in the street! You will be missed, RIP Nat. Love you Sue, Pal, Glenn and Jonn. The Patten Family
Leanne, George, Glenn, Angela, Jonn and families I am so sorry to learn of Nat's passing. I have many fond memories of cups of tea and chats with Nat. I know he will be incredibly missed by you all. Sending all my love to you at this difficult time. Kiri
Thank you Nat for creating the wonderful memories. Fishing with you was always interesting and always learning something new. Your style of fishing was interesting. Many great days on the Hinemaia and the Waiotaka will be remembered for ever. The time you spent with young Christie was appreciated by both of us. Memories are forever. Tight lines. May you rest in peace my friend. Gone to soon. XX
Our thoughts are with you all, a great hunter, fisherman & gatherer; gone but not forgotten. Chris & Shorty.
