Kirsten and families, I am so sorry to hear of Mikey B's passing. Mikey B was one of a kind, from the double denim and witty sense of humour to his kindness, caring nature and generosity. I was so lucky to have met and worked with Mike (and Kirsten) at KGTP for many years and to call him a friend. I have some great memories of our social club antics, golf days and all the other fun social occasions we all had. Always there for a chat or to lend a hand. I will really miss you Mikey B. On behalf of Kawaroa Park Squash Club we would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Kirsten and all of Mike's family. He was a much loved and respected member of the Squash club for many years. He was a tough competitor on court and a great guy to socialize with afterwards. He will be missed deeply by those that knew him.

Celtic Rovers extends their condolences to Kirsten and families with the passing of Mike. Celtic Rovers was formed in December 1995 at the passing of Bill Bracken ( Mike's dad ) and subsequent wake. The group was originally made of 12 family and friends and this has grown to about 25. We meet annually on the last Saturday/Sunday in June for 12 hours of comradeship and good craic. These gatherings have been as far north as Kaikohe and south to Te Anau. Mike is the only member to have attended all 30 events. We will toast him at our next gathering in June 2026. Sad to hear of Uncle Mike's passing. I will remember him fondly. My thoughts are with all of my cousin's and their families right now. With love, Renee and family
