GILLESPIE, Rodger Wayne:
Passed away peacefully on the 29th April surrounded by family.
Dearly loved Husband and soulmate of Sue. Amazing Father and Father-in-law to Sheree & Barry, Wendy & Tim, the late Nicola, Nathan & Anita. Devoted Pop to Jim, Abi, Sophia, Anya, Richie, Emmett, Olivia, Zara. Loved Brother and Brother-in-law of Denys and Jill. Loved Brother-in-law to Shirley & Bruce (dec), John & Moi, Carol & Al (dec).
A celebration of Rodger’s life shall be held at the Cust Community Centre, Mill Road, Cust, on Monday the 6th of May at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers a donation in Rodger’s name to the Cust Fire Brigade is welcomed on the day. Messages to the Gillespie family can be sent to PO Box 35, Rangiora 7440.

Rodger and I were cousins and although we did not see each other often, when we did it was like nothing had changed from the previous visit. He and I had the same sense of humour and values. My health does not allow me to travel far at present so I will not be there on Monday. I will be thinking of you all. My heartfelt condolences to Sue and family. Dene
