""Little Val" was a wonderful work colleague and was a very special lady. All my love to the Hammond family and to ""young Val" and your family xxxx
Aunty Val you were one of a kind, very witty, welcoming and loved to chat. You were so proud of your family and had a lot of respect from others along the way with how loyal you were. What I remember from when I was younger and would come and stay with you, is that you were a good cook always plenty of tucker, and when out of the kitchen you either had knitting needles or something like that in your hands, most of your time was spent making things for either family or others. Such a kind kind person and never judged others. You would stop and chat to anyone who wanted the same. . I loved it when you would visit Napier when I was younger and you would go into mums bathroom and loved commenting on how beautiful it was, you were good at lifting peoples spirits with your compliments. Such fond memories of you and your 3 dear children - all of whom absolutely adored you. Uncle Gordon would be so proud of the job you have done by bringing up your 3 children with your strong family values, and all of them sucessfully managing to bring up their own children with those same values. Well done, Great memories, and love the pictures I have been blessed to see over a period of time via facebook and your little matching stories . Enjoy up there and pleaase say hi to mum when you see her and uncle Gordon too. Thanks xxx
