Dear Terry My pal for 45 years. You have left a big hole in our hearts. Be at peace in Gods care. Thank you for it all, Your Em
Terry My dearest friend and Partner in Crime. So many memories from family times, to mad hatched plans. You started the adventure weekends, Caving, walking through streams, Pony trecking, not forgetting the encouragement to absail down a viaduct. Boating trips through Canals and on the river. Ski trips, Seaside trips, walking and the holiday of a life time off to washington DC. Me, Rosemary, Jessica & you intrepid explorers from Washington to Canda to see the falls, So many memories and so many more yet to make! You scooped me up, not only was I rosemarys friend but part of the family. From your exploits in the RAF with many dogs by your side, from your patience to see Rosemary and I through our midwifery degree's, mad exploits in the garden and day trips out. Metal soup, elderflower wine and all sorts of culinary concotions, I was always welcome. Not forgetting an introduction to Lara Croft. The speech at our wedding, a message to all about love and commitment. Our friendship, although seperated by distance, always important. My thoughts and reflections go with you my friend as you head towards your next destination. Fly high with the angels and hopefully be reunited with your furry friends. June and Mick
Rest in peace Uncle Terry.. Followed in your footsteps in the Royal Air Force, the love of dogs and as an avid motorcyclist. My thoughts are with Auntie Rosemary, Jessica, Glenn & Katie. The only photo I have in my phone isn’t with me but still the most recent memory and time spent with you. Ricky xx
RIP Terry xxxx

Sending our love and very best wishes to Rosemary and all the family. We were very sad to hear the news about Terry. We will always remember him as so full of life and infectious energy. Judging from all the lovely tributes here, he will be sorely missed by many, but he has left some very special enduring memories. We will join you at the funeral all the way from Yorkshire.
What can I say about our friend Terry? He was one of those rarest of people. On first meeting Terry you feel you have known him for years. He was affable, funny, even adorable. I think of his earlier life in the RAF as an RAF Police dog handler. The crazy, daft things we did. 1 Nights on the razz in Lincolnshire, 2 Doing the lyke wake walk, in winter, “Catkins,” (If you know you know), 3 Driving to Germany in a ford capri with five people in it, breaking down, and the song that sprang from that. I could go on and on. What can I say about our friend Terry? I can tell you this. He was loved, and he will be remembered. To Rosemary, her family and friends we send condolences and love. Rosemary, Jessica, Glenn, Katie, and your whole family, I am so sorry for your loss. When we were growing up trips 'up north' to Wakefield were always very much looked forward to. This clan of kids, in an out of the trailer tent, beds and running away from the geese! We loved staying with you, in your lovely home with all the animals but especially Terry's beloved Buster the dog. I am so so grateful for all that Terry gave us, a warm smile, hospitality, stories from the army, ' never walk the same route twice', how to make cocktail sauce, convincing Dad to by his first pair of jeans in his forties. As I got older, thank you for letting me stay with you. 'Just see the world' he said - and now I am living in Brisbane and travel all over. It's the little things that make one big life and Terry will always be a figure I looked up to and admired. Sending you all love at this sad time, but so much to celebrate too. Like you gave me, there is always a warm welcome here in Brisbane for you Rosie, if you need a different place to be, anytime. Much love Emily xxx
Rosemary, Paul and I were shocked to read of Terry's passing. Terry was a wonderful person with a big heart for everyone. I always remember when we first met, I told Paul I was popping round to introduce myself to the 'new' neighbours, 3 hours later I returned home. We talked and laughed as if we'd known each other for years. A very special person has been taken from his loved ones way too soon. Our thoughts are with you all ❤️
To Rosemary and family - we are so sorry to hear of Terry’s passing. You are in our thoughts and we send you all our love. He was a true gentleman and a great storyteller with a real zest for life! He will be hugely missed by everyone who knew him xxxxx

Dear Rosemary and family so shocked and sorry to hear about Terry's passing. I remember our 1st trip to NZ when you put us up and made us feel so welcome. Terry was always the same full of fun and puns. I am sure that there's a great big hole in your hearts and lives now, but the memories will still be there. I pray for you all and Terry, May he rest in peace and rise in glory. Xx
Whenever I think of Terry I smile, from our time during The Full Monty to our most recent show together, Spirit Level, we have laughed, joked and cried. Terry was kind, gentle, encouraging and incredibly naughty, in the best of ways. I read that missing someone is like feeling that a piece of your heart has gone astray, these words go some way to describe how I feel about losing my dear friend. You will be missed.
So sorry to hear of your loss Rosemary. My thoughts and love to yourself and family xx
