Leon was such a funny and kind man, so generous with his time, skill and humour and could tell many wonderful stories. We were so happy to have had the chance for him to lead our group on caving and climbing camps. He will be very dearly missed by so many. Thank you, Leon, for all the great memories while we grew up – family ski trips to Mt Ruapehu, Christmas at the bach in Moonshine and of course, the cars.
