On the 7th of may 2024 your life ended and ours changed forever. I'm happy we got some photos of you and luca before things got to bad. I remember you holding her in your arms saying "you have dad's nose" or "you have his lips" and watching you love her as if she was your own or as if it was your only chance to hold her. I hope you keep pinching her little cheeks where ever you are now. I wish Luca could have gotten to know you more or even got old enough just to remember the sound of your voice. I have been laying in bed wondering what mischief you and her would have got up to. I wonder if she would have remembered how you like your coffee and wish she got to feel how it felt to be tucked in by you. I wonder if you would have taken her to get tadpoles at the mini train tracks or steal pet ducks from the lake. I wonder if she would have come home smelling like McDonald's mc flurries or how many lollies would be hidden in her pockets to take home to eat later. You were the best nana to her in the short time you got to have with her. I promise she will grow up and know exactly who you are when she sees a picture of you and know how excited you were to be the owner/operator at nana day care. I can't wait to tell her all your stories. Thank you for the childhood most kids dream about.Life won't be the same. Always and forever. Love you mum. Rest easy and keep the cokes cold.
