With a heavy heart, I write this in memory of Grandma Joyce. Though dementia took away her ability to communicate in her later years, her spirit and the love she shared with the family will never be forgotten. She would always smile whenever I entered the house and her presences provided warmth and comfort. I am deeply saddened that I am unable to attend the funeral due to being overseas, however I send my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Grandma Joyce.
