It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our loved Aunt, Great Aunt and great friend to many.
Generous, strong and fiercely independent Betty will be sadly missed.

One of the best friends you could have...kind, loving, and mischievous! I will miss her terribly. 😢
Dear Betty, What a privilege to know you and yes you are fiercely independent and loyal. I first met you over 24yrs ago while I was working at Heards Jewellers - then in Hinemoa Street. At the time I didn’t realise that you were a neighbour to my friend Ag Dwon. What lovely conversations we had and little glasses of wine - your intelligence I really appreciate and your respect for my faith. Thank for sharing your Damson plums with me and I still have a bottle of ‘Damson Damage’ (bottled 2013) your recipe Betty. Cheers to you lovely lady and rest well, Love, Ele X
