COTTON, Gail Margaret: Of Feilding. Peacefully on 7 September 2025, aged 81 years. Much loved wife of the late Rae. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Sheran & Jason Hancock, Bruce, Allan, John & Rachel, Hamish & Rachel, and Viv. Loved Grandma/Nana of Matthew & Quacclynn, Brogan & Sarah, Jared, Aleisha & James, Christina & Jonty, Rebecca & Josh, Hayden & Yasmin, Lillian & Charles, and Thomas. Great-grandmother, aunty and friend to many. A service for Gail will be held at William Cotton & Sons Chapel, 29 Beattie Street Feilding on Thursday 11 September 2025, at 1pm, followed by interment at the Feilding cemetery. For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed on this page. In lieu of flowers, donations to Arohanui Hospice via www.arohanuihospice.org.nz would be appreciated.

Rest in peace Mrs Cotton, my first highland dance teacher, I went on to dance for many years and my daughter is also a highland dancer. I have very fond memories of this lovely lady xxx
Unfortunately I learn't too late of Gail's passing to be in attendance at the funeral. My thoughts and deep condolences go to all the family. We had some great times in our early "Banding" days. Never to be be forgotten.
Gail and Rae brought up a beautiful family because they were two loving souls themselves Gail will be sorely missed in the Pipe Band community and the community in general as was Rae when he left this world. Rest in peace Roy Hamilton and family
