Tributes

Linda’s love of family, sense of humour, intelligence and work ethic were all cornerstones of her character. Sarah, Nicholas and Emma were her pride and joy and stand as testament to that love and pride. As well as working closely together we shared many great social times. Not only but also - weekly lunches with Bo and Michele, Wednesday quiz night (the infamous and incomparable Whakawe), A Night at the Oscars, and many, many themed days at work. When Linda moved south it was our loss but it opened up a wonderful and much deserved happy future for her with Gordon and more family for her to cherish. RIP my friend.

I was in shock when I heard the news of Linda's passing today. I first met Linda in the sounds at Gordon's batch & she introduced herself as "Linda The Pom" We always looked forward to a catchup when we were at the batch. Will miss those conversations over a wine or two that we had there and of course your great sense of humour. I know that place held special memories for you & Gordon & we will all miss seeing you there. My sympathies to Gordon & Family. RIP Bill King Christchurch

Linda today was a shock to find out that you would not be coming back into work with us- it was only last week we had a good laugh at work together. You have already left a big hole at work. We will never get to wear our matching blue and white dresses together again, which i was in shock the first time we did it since i am 30years younger than you! Everytime i wear that dress from now on i will always remember you. It was an honour to work with you and you will be missed, a lot. I am praying for your family Linda. Rest in peace

Firstly I’m so Sorry to hear of the untimely passing of Linda. Linda was my Nurse team leader several years ago at CentralMed Tauranga. My memories are mostly of Linda’s quick wit and amazing poems she would write for staff leaving or on other important days. Linda was always ready to get out and help her staff on the floor, she encouraged her team to grow in their areas of interest. Linda was always focused on her kids and her love for them was obvious. I was so pleased to hear she had met and married Gordon, some personal happiness at last. I know Linda will be hugely missed by Gordon and her kids. I pray for you all to find strength in each other during this very difficult loss. Much love ❤️
