I played football with Graeme for 10 years in his last team before he retired from the sport , the WSAFC Mercenaries. My overriding impression of Graeme was just how cheerful and upbeat he was , no matter what the result. I never saw him get angry or frustrated in all those years. His approach to life was clearly one of calm and positivity. He was also hugely committed to the team and the club - he would always come back to the club rooms for a beer and some banter with the boys after a game. He came back to play for us after his neck op when many others would have given it away, and even when he and Anne moved from Pt Chev to Kohi he still made the trek across town to get on the field for Springs. Finally he absolutely loved his family , it was clear that they meant the world to him. Our deepest sympathies go out to Anne, Zac and Danielle. Farewell Graeme , you were a great team man , and a lovely bloke. The world will be poorer for not having you in it.
That smile really says it all about this lovely man. Graeme also loved Genesis the band with a passion. Always encouraging and happy to share an opinion or two followed by that famous chuckle. A great team man and much loved by everyone that knew him. Our deepest sympathies go out to Graeme's family. As a husband and father he leaves a wonderful legacy. RIP dear friend. Taken too soon.
