RENDLE, Maurie Leslie.
Passed away peacefully on 7th September 2025, aged 91 years. Beloved husband of Marilyn and the late Barbara and Alison. Loving father and father-in-law of Kay and Mark, Scott and Carolyn and the late Dean. Step-father of Rachelle and Jo. Cherished Poppa of Phoebe, Alex and Matthew, Poppa Maurie of
Summer, Jamie, Ashlea, Reianna, Travis and Emma. Great Poppa of Lenny. Darling brother and brother-in-law of Susanne and Staff and the late Judith and Ron.
A service to celebrate Maurie’s life will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil’s Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany at 10:30am on Friday 12th September.

Founding Commanding Officer of the Physical Education & Recreational Training School.
CEO YMCA Auckland 1973 to 1996.
Maurie’s dedication and commitment to physical training along with his leadership and vision for health and recreation has left a lasting legacy throughout the services and the YMCA.
