I was meant to visit, so you could take me through all the Nelson landmarks. You told me that I shouldn't take too long but I left it too late :( I am so sorry - I really wanted to do it and I had planned on doing it this year, but now I will have to do it alone and raise a glass to you. I am sorry we weren't closer, living in a different country makes it hard but I will relish the memories of your visits here in Aus and the comms via email over the years. Say hi to dad and mum. I was coming over this year, because you told me to not wait too long, so we could visit Nelson together so you could show me where you and Dad hung out and all things Nelson. Sadly I didn't make it in time. I wish we could have been closer, but living in different countries doesn't make that easy. I am thankful for the times we did catch up and our recent comms.
