WILSON, Mary Anne (nee O’Brien):
Peacefully at Heatherlea Hospital Care on Monday, 3 June 2024, aged 67 years. Beloved wife and soul mate of Graham. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Stacey & Rich, Amy & Siva, and Hayden & Korena. Adored Nana of her 8 grandchildren; Kyla, Courtney, Bella, Lola, Alesana, Ivy, Stevie and Brooklyn. Many thanks to the staff and residents of Heatherlea Rest Home for their love, care and support for Mary over the last 2 years. Her journey and battle with Alzheimers is now over and she is at rest.

A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Friday 7 June 2024 at 2pm.

Sincere condolences Graham and family. I was very saddened to lean of Mary's passing and to be taken early by such a cruel disease. Mary was such a lovely person who touched many lives. Graham, Please accept my condolences. We use to see each other at Heatherlea when my partner was in there briefly. I remember Mary's tuneful singing. Dementia is such a horrible disease as you lose that person twice. Thinking of you. Lorraine Bilkey

What a privilege it was to attend Mary’s funeral via live stream and to hear what a remarkable life she had led and to be loved so dearly by so many, it was a very fitting send off.
