Dear Val and family, So sorry to hear of George’s passing. It was such a blessing to me to know him briefly. He was so kind, friendly, and a man of great faith. With much love to you Val, Christine and David Griffiths
Dear Val Thinking of you at this sad time as you move forward in the days ahead without your companion of 62 years. I know he was both your rock and your biggest fan over all those years. Treasure the many happy memories. Marise McNeill and family
Dear Val and Family, We wish you all much love at this time. Over the past 20 or so years we have often connected at the triennial Suzuki Teachers Conferences in Rotorua and also a few Masterton Suzuki Camps too. It was indeed lovely to see George - every time he was such a gentleman and an incredibly patient and supportive husband to Val.
George and Val were amazing neighbours to us when they lived in Howick. Our two children really looked up to them with “Uncle George” a special favourite. We suspect it had something to do with the chocolate coated doughnuts “Uncle George” would send around for them It saddens us greatly to hear that George has left us. We say farewell to a wise, kind and generous man with a wonderful soft Scottish lilt
George will always be remembered as such a kind man. All my love and thoughts to Val and family.
Passing our love and eternally positive memories to Val, Andrew, Katherine, Ian, Christine and their whole families. I would have been a similar age to Maisie and Grace when I first met the true Gentle Man George, and his ever-present and loving Bride Val. The fact that I exist can be pointed back to Val & George's introduction of Mum & Dad. Much love to you all & loving memories, the Gasking family.
