Alex passed away on the 1st June 2024 in Feilding after a long battle with Alzheimers, aged 82 years. Beloved husband, soul mate and closest friend of Margaret for 59 years, 9 months and 16 days. Dearly loved and respected father and father-in-law of Susan and Stephen Picking, and Fiona and Nick Suurenbroek. Our special thanks to Coombrae Rest Home and Woodlands Rest Home for their wonderful care of Alex. His smile will never be forgotten. In accordance with Alex’s wishes a private cremation has been held.
