As I grew older, I really enjoyed Aunty June's infectious laughter and nice words. Deb's and I will always remember their offer to stay at John and Junes Crib/Bach up north following our wedding - the offer continued to be offered every time we met. Thank you, Aunty June - Time to lead another choir - Rest and catch up with Uncle John.

My Dad, Eric Sherburd, always referred to June as his favourite cousin. He is 93. June and her family would visit them annually in Henley and Dunedin. Dad and Mum (Julie Sherburd) spent a lot of time with June and John and the boys over the years. We always admired how well she played the piano, how beautifully dressed and groomed she was and for the massive amount of energy and capability she had. She was lots of fun and full of giggles.
