Coral was a dear friend to me, and a grandmother figure to my children. She always had a little gift for Matilda and Elliot on their birthdays or at Christmas time. We’ve received many knitted items from Coral too; hats for myself and my husband, clothes for my friends kids and so many items for my own kids. They’ve been absolutely spoilt by Coral over the years and every time I see a picture of my kids in her knitting, it will serve as a beautiful reminder of her. Personally, I have been lucky to have been able to call Coral a friend. She was great to have a gossip with (she always knew more about what was going on at school despite her being retired and me still working there). Coral always had time for me and would always have my back; she was a fierce supporter of her friends. I’m going to miss her cheeky smile and how she would call a spade a spade. I’m going to miss her friendship. Goodbye my friend.
