Suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, 7 June 2024; aged 59 years.
Much loved partner of Sue Harris.
Loved son of Les and Gloria Wilmot.
Brother of David and James, and Uncle to Matthew.
A celebration of Mark's life was held at the Wellsford Community Centre, Matheson Road, Wellsford on Saturday 15 June 2024 at 1:00pm followed by private cremation.

Deeply saddened to hear of your exit Mark. My brother, our friends and myself all loved working with and for you in your gardens over the years in our youth. We did not think when you visited us just two weeks ago that it would be the last time we would see you. We always enjoyed your company. Dearly loved nephew of Betty and the late Ray Edwards, cousin of Raewyn, Cheryl, Stephen and Grant and their families. Some wonderful boating and fishing memories - will be sadly missed by all.
Memories are bitter sweet, over the years we saw you in good times and low times but at all times you wore your cheeky smile and classic gum boots! You have left a hole in many hearts. Dear Mark, Thank you for shearing our sheep over the years. You were a hard worker and fun to have in the shed. Your expertise will be missed greatly by particularly Glenys & I.
