MILLS, Elaine Elizabeth (nee Tyrrell). Slipped away in the loving care of the staff at Ribbonwood Country Home, Tapanui, on Friday, June 7, 2024, in her 97th year.  Beloved daughter of *Ted and *Doris Tyrrell, dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of *Keith; Alan and Lee, Jessie, John, Chelsea, and Lochlan (Hobart); Claire, Jesse, and Cameron Fergie (Melbourne); Elizabeth and Hans van der Linden; Sarah and Hamish, Jess, and Emily Reid; Mike and Helen, Jackie, and Sam (Tapanui); Joanna and Patrick (Dunedin).  Elaine’s family will be forever grateful for the exceptional love and respectful care given to Mum over the last 8 years by all the staff at Ribbonwood Country Home and West Otago Health.  In accordance with her wishes, Elaine has been cremated and a private interment will take place in the near future.  Messages to 50 Sussex Street, Tapanui 9522 or you can go to Elaine’s tribute page at mwfunerals.co.nz/s/elaine.
