Passed away peacefully aged 101 on 16 June 2024 at Gulf Views Rest Home Howick. Wife of the late Norman Loader. Mother to Catherine and Doug. Loved Nana to Henry, Elizabeth, Sam, Emma, Sophie. Great grandmother to Thomas, Mathew, Eleanor. The service for Brenda will be held at the All Saints Chapel, Purewa, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Monday 24 June at 10.00am. Sadly missed, you have been inspirational to us all.

We were very sorry to hear of Brenda's passing and our condolences go out to all of her family. We have warm memories when she came with her sister June to visit us in Richmond. As I believe she was the second oldest of the Hitch girls to have lived beyond 100 is amazing.We know from her letters thta she enjoyed life to the fullest.
