I met Peter in 1989 when I was living in Auckland through a mutual friend. Peter and I soon became very good friends and remained so thereafter. I returned to New Zealand for holidays and Peter always insisted I stayed with him. Peter's kindness loyalty and generosity, had no bounds . Peter is and will be greatly missed by everyone. His intellect, interest in a wide range of subjects ,empathy and loyalty are attributes we all aspire too. Peter was a good example of living life to the full and seizing every opportunity made available. . In 2011 when I visited auckland peter constantly reminded me that I had not gone out I would not have met new people and made new friends. As always he was right. Rest in peace .
