I loved the family tributes in the service especially the children’s contributions. The two paintings by Robert’s granddaughter were especially poignant. So much time has gone by since I knew Robert at school but the time seemed to roll back as I took in the photos and comments. Robert certainly had a family to be proud of and a life of real accomplishment. Will be thinking you Pauline and all your family as you come to terms with your loss David Taylor

Roger Davenport has been keeping the old Darwen Grammar School group up to date with how things have been going in the past few years. We have all been thinking about you in these most difficult times. Pauline, I remember you as the person who saw good in everything. May you have good times again. RIP Robert.
