MEMORIES Ivy - you touched so many in your full and busy life. I remember you teaching science along the corridor from me and the lesson was making hokey pokey. Then our sports exchange to Taumarunui. I travelled with you to one of Garry's rugby matches around the coast and you could recite the after-match 'thank you' speech! We started our quilting journey together back in the 1980s and then all those trips to Raglan retreats where the infamous Taranaki girls had their own dorm. Our memories of you will live on. Kia kaha arohanui, Ivy.

Such sad news, love to all the family. It was an honour to be a part of the final Tysons teams Ivy coached...the best years learning so much whilst having fun and good banter between us. Wish I could be there Thursday but my thoughts will be with you.

You dear lady was a light in the life of a lost 14 yr old girl, who attended Sudbury High School for Girls. When you came to the school, your first job, you turn my life around and Netball into my passion, one that has never died. At 70 I still shoot hoops in my garden in West Palm Beach Florida You saw in me what NO one else saw.. something special. You encouraged me! Forever grateful, forever in my ❤️
