Tributes

Missed your send off aunty Brenda as sick with covid. Fun memories of playing pool downstairs at your place and exceptional dinners too. I also used to get off the school bus to practice piano at your place ….. except you always made sure I had milk and cookies first. ☺️ enjoy meeting all your friends and family gone before you - what a reunion that will have been. Love to your family who will miss you dearly xx

Such a special aunty, stepmother and friend. Wonderful story teller with 95 years of stories from England to New Zealand. Always thoughtful of others. We will miss you so much!

I knew Brenda through her son Brian, who is my brother-in-law, married to my sister Jill. I would catch up with her, mainly through our Christmas get togethers. She would often describe in detail her earlier life, the places they moved to and the things Brian would get up to ! She would always present herself immaculately, well dressed, appropriate jewelry and not a strand of hair out of place, looking amazingly youthful for her age. Her absence will be noticed, she was the last of the older generation in our family circle. My condolences to her family.
