Funeral service held at Dil's Funeral Services
To you Tim and your children, grandchildren a the remaining family, we were saddened to read of Lydia’s somewhat sudden passing. It was nice to talk to Pam on Tuesday and visit Joan as she wasn’t able to be there. It was nice to catch up with old ice ties from days gone by. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you journey through your lives without a much loved wife mother and grandmother.
Aroha to all the family. As everyone has described Lynda had the kindest and most generous heart. When I was at my loneliest and most lost Tim and Lynda welcomed me, often turning up unannounced, into their home, providing dinner, and unconditional, unquestioning love. I will always remember her kindness and support when I needed it most. Arohanui ki a koutou
We send our sympathy and love. We will remember Lynda for her warmth, kindness and quiet wisdom. Our deepest sympathy to you all. Karen and Keith, Nick and Leah, Tim and Jenay
We send our love and share your sorrow at this time. Lynda was always especially warm-hearted and caring in my memory and will be dearly missed. May you find strength and comfort from the influence she has left on you. With lots of love, Chris, Zehra, Dylan and Violeta, Myles, and Emily.
We are very sad we could not be with you today to honour and celebrate a special lady very dear to our hearts. We will always have fond memories of Lynda’s caring, warm, welcoming nature and fun personality who always added a sense of ease and joy to be around her. Sending our deepest sympathy, love and thoughts to Tim and the whanau. Lots of love Carol. Giles and whanau x
