It was such a privilege to meet Dot in Tauranga Maternity Annex in 1990 - the start of a special friendship with Dot & Rusty.. I treasure many precious memories of visits to their homes in New Zealand and their trips to UK - thanks to Sharyn living here for a while. Such a gifted lady in so many ways. Such a loss to many, especially Rusty, Sharyn, Steve, Craig and families May you know God's comfort , strength and peace in the days ahead.

I'm so sorry not to be with you all today. So many of the memories over the course of my life included Dorothy, and I can't quite believe she is gone. Aunty Dot. What can I say. So much more than an aunty to me. You were always there for me and my dad, and later my little far off family. Your kindness, smile, humour and love will be so missed. I will always remember your beautiful creativity and abundant skills which you have so generously shared with me over the years. Thank you. Thank you for everything. We'll miss you, lovely lady.
